Who we are
Coach Kris Mac operates coachkrismac.com and Brutal Little Books from Lincoln, New Zealand. To ask a privacy question or make a request about your information, use our contact form.
Information you give us
When you contact us, we collect the name, email address and message you enter so we can respond. When you apply for The War Room, we collect your required name and email address, plus any optional phone number, business and role, discussion theme and attendance choice you provide. We use this information to review and respond to your application. Optional fields are voluntary. We cannot respond to a message or application without a usable email address. Sending either form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Contact Form 7 handles form submissions. A copy is stored in a private WordPress inbox using Flamingo, and a notification is emailed to the site administrator. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for abuse. The Standards Audit processes your answers in your browser and does not send those answers to us through that feature. If you join the print interest list, we collect your name, email address and explicit choice to hear from us if paper editions become available. We use those details only for that update. Joining is voluntary and does not reserve a book or subscribe you to other marketing. The form is handled by Contact Form 7, stored privately in Flamingo and notified to the site administrator.
Book orders
When digital book sales open, WooCommerce will collect the checkout and order details needed to take payment, calculate applicable tax, deliver PDFs, provide support and maintain business records. Buyers can check out as guests or choose an account for later download access. Stripe provides card payment processing. We do not use an order to add you to a marketing list without a separate choice.
Service providers and storage
Our website hosting and email services handle information needed to run the site and deliver notifications. Cloudflare processes information needed for site and form security. When sales open, WooCommerce and Stripe handle order and payment information. These services may process information outside New Zealand. We limit access to people who need the information to run the business, respond to you, support orders or meet legal obligations.
We keep contact and application details for as long as they are needed to deal with the enquiry or application and related business needs. We keep order and account records for as long as needed for fulfilment, support, tax, accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us about a particular record through the contact form.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar browser storage for login, cart, checkout, payment and security functions. These functions may not work properly if the relevant storage is blocked.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and request a correction through the contact form. You can also ask us to delete information where applicable. We will explain if we must keep a record for legal or accounting reasons. We may update this notice as the site changes.
