Time is yours to do what you want with!
But, most people don’t know where they spend it it just gets burned without any real consideration of whether it is a good use of time or not.
Time is our most precious resource but I don’t believe we treat it like that.
Where do you spend your time?
Is it on things you want to spend time on?
How much do you waste without even considering it?
Most people have never stopped to figure out where all of their time is going yet they use expressions like I don’t have time for that or I wish I had more time in a day!
The truth is you do!
All you have to do is find it.
Start auditing your time, keep track of it for a week and see where you are burning this precious resource.
Be honest with yourself and take note of exactly where your time is going.
People are not willing to get rid of the things they don’t want to do in life, it’s like they are willing to give that time to anything at all as long as it distracts them from the short term pain of doing the hard things in life that will bring them the most satisfaction.
So when you next hear yourself say I don’t have time for that!
Sit down and figure out where you are burning daylight!
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:
“Lost time is never found again.”
– Benjamin Franklin.
You can’t keep today’s hour for tomorrow – we all know that, but still tend to procrastinate. Benjamin Franklin warns that time is a scarce resource, and if it’s wasted, it cannot be recovered later. This is why mindful planning and work on productivity are so important.
Are you willing to keep sacrificing your time for things that don’t matter?
